The 9 stages
for carpet cleaning include:
- Inspect the carpet, to
identify the stain and carpet fibers.
- Pre vacuum, by using
our industrial strength dyson vacuum cleaners to
deep clean all the dirt, and soil from the
carpet fibers.
- Use high quality stain removal solution for the identified stains; we do have our own special range of environmentally friendly citrus based products that are safe to use on all carpet fibers and won’t emit toxic fumes that can cause harm.
- Pre-spraying a citrus
based solution which penetrates deep in the
fabric soils.
- Using the steam
extractor method to deep clean the carpet
fibers, and kill all the living bacteria’s and
germs deep in the fabrics.
- Using a turbo drying
method to quicken the drying process for you
convenience, which results in no wet floors.
- Industrial strength
furniture barriers will be replaced under all
timber and metal moved furniture to protect the
furniture from moisture.
- Deodorising and the
sanitation of carpets.

The difference between Dry Clean
and Steam clean using the hot extraction method
Dry clean
method:
When a cleaner
uses the Dry-Clean method, shampoo is applied to
carpet, allowing it to dry, then sucking the dry
shampoo into a vacuum. Can you imagine applying
shampoo to your hair, allowing it to dry and then
removing the shampoo from your head with a vacuum?
This method can leave residue in your carpet, which
is one reason dry foam or the dry clean method is
not effective at all.
The Dry method to clean carpet is by spreading an absorbent mixture that
looks like wet sawdust all over the carpet. Then
the machine brushes the mixture into the carpet,
which in theory causes the dirt to absorb into the
mixture. When the mixture has dried, a vacuum
cleaner sucks the material out of the carpet.
Because the carpet is not rinsed in any way, this
method is not very effective in carpet cleaning, as it only
polishes the
top of the carpet rather than cleaning way down into
the pile removing smaller sized soil particles that
have the potential to affect your health and the
health of the your loved once.
Hot Water Extraction method “ Steam Clean”:
The second
carpet cleaning method is called Hot Water
Extraction. A hot water cleaning solution under high
pressure is forced into the carpet and sucked out of
the carpet. This method is the best method to use if
done properly by a qualified carpet cleaning
technician.
According to
Standards Australia AS/NZS 3733:1995 compiled by a
Committee of experts, The Australian Wool
Research Organization, The Carpet Institute of
Australia and the CSIRO, this method of
carpet
cleaning
is the only method that will deep clean your carpet.
Not
surprisingly, the hot water extraction method cleans
the carpet much better because it heats the water to over 100
degrees - and shoots the cleaning solution into the
carpet at around 300 lbs. of pressure - which breaks
up the dirt, bacteria and pollens. Then the machine
uses high-powered suction to draw the dirt out of
the carpet. In effect the carpet is sanitized due to
the high water temperature. This is the method that PrimeClean uses and carpets dry much quicker using
our exclusive Turbo Drying Method.
Undoubtedly, the most effective way
of cleaning the carpet is with a Hot-Water Extraction / Steam
Clean method. It's the most powerful cleaning method
available in the market and the only way that thoroughly
cleans the carpet and rids it of the dirt, harmful
bacteria, fungus, chemicals, pollens and tobacco
residue.
Methods that use cold water (such as dry clean)
removes dirt - but are not nearly as effective as
the Hot-Water Extraction for cleaning the carpet.
